What we collect
ASTRAE collects only what is necessary to operate the platform: your email address and password when you create an account, the dispatches, media and stories you submit, and basic technical information such as browser type and pages visited.
How we use information
We use submitted content to publish dispatches, build city archives and feature contributors across the ASTRAE website and our official social channels. We use account data to authenticate you, secure your account and send essential service notifications.
User-submitted content
When you submit a dispatch, photo, video, caption or story to ASTRAE, you confirm that you created the content or have full permission to share it, and you grant ASTRAE a worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, edit, publish and promote that content on the ASTRAE website, Journal, and across our official social channels (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and others). You retain ownership of your work and may request removal at any time.
Cookies & analytics
ASTRAE uses minimal cookies and privacy-conscious analytics to understand how the site is used and to improve the editorial experience. We do not sell personal data.
Your rights
